Located in the quite little hub of Appletree Shops on Shepherds Drive in Cherrybrook, this little local cafe gets big props from locals and travelling instagram foodies alike. The aptly named Schoolyard Cafe (owner Meg Wong used to be a primary school teacher before taking her baking hobby full time) has a family-friendly atmosphere, a schoolyard theme and a seasonal menu of fresh, popular modern dishes such as buddha bowls and salads. You will definitely not leave hungry or disappointed.
There are be plenty of baked goods – think biscuits, muffins, cupcakes with unique twists on modern classics, all made from scratch on site by Meg and her husband. The standout of the show are the beautifully decorated cakes which you can also preorder for special occasions.
Plenty of onsite outdoor parking for the little group of shops.
The Schoolyard Cafe is a perfect Mother’s Group location with allocated pram parking and a big table in the middle to seat lots of sleep deprived mummies looking for a coffee hit.
